Part of my job as a psychotherapist is to access healing resources that are frequently unavailable to clients. Today, a client of mine was feeling a strong disconnection from his higher power or God. He had recently experienced a traumatic situation that resulted in a week of stomach flu and general physical weakness. Our goal was to first identify and then release any traumatic residue that he was carrying as information in his body and in other areas, such as his subconscious mind, his energy field or any of his chakras.
Depending upon our particular vulnerability at any given time, traumatic residue including limiting beliefs, repressed emotional feeling states, psychotoxic energy or fear of dying can end up as information that persists within us that continues to weaken us over time. Left unattended to, one can end up with the condition known as PTSD. Talk therapy can be useful, but I have found not as efficacious as energy-based therapies and strategies. Because I have many decades of experience in shamanic healing practices, I am able to access powerful sources of healing that become available to my clients in our sessions. Today, as I was using an intervention called frontal occipital holding (you can check out my book on my website to find out more about this particular intervention), my inner vision opened up to a realm in what is called non-ordinary reality where I saw my client’s spiritual body in a courtyard of a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Nepal. I both saw and heard Tibetan lamas encircle him while they were chanting on his behalf. I heard the resonant tones and overtones in my active interior reality of these Tibetan lamas who were chanting to release heavy karma for the benefit of my client. This went on for four or five minutes. When I was finished, the first thing my client asked me was if it was me who made the sound that he heard. I asked him what sound? He then vocalized (with his hands moving in and out) a deep resonant sound of a Tibetan lama chanting. I told him that I made no vocal sound, and I described my compressed time shamanic journey to him. He knocked on the table with his knuckle and told me that the sound he had just heard was as real as the table. I told him that he just had a parallel experience to my own, as I had opened up a passageway from another dimension in non-ordinary reality (of which there are many). I told him that the deep resonant sound he described was subjective confirmation that the lamas I had seen and heard chanting on his behalf were very present for him. I feel blessed and very lucky to do this kind of work with clients.
