The conference in San Diego was wonderful this year. It was May 31-June 2 and I enjoyed all of the presentations I went to. The keynote speakers were quite good, particularly Dr. Gary Schwartz who spoke about Earthing. This is a way to describe the benefits of grounding and the positive effects of the free electrons from the earth that when regularly exposed to, reduce and even eliminate inflammation, more and more suspected as the underlying cause of many chronic and degenerative disease processes. I ordered a grounding rubber pad to place my feet on while at the computer as well as a conductive bed sheet, both of which are connected to the ground in the wall electrical socket. It’s only been three days of use but so far, the results appear promising with better sleep and an old knee injury that seems to be less problematic. I will keep you updated. My own presentation was well received, filling up the room. My topic was about Self-Care for Caregivers and Helpers, the title of my upcoming book, scheduled for release on or about the 22nd of June. I spoke about compassion fatigue as well as the importance of saying NO more often and the importance of establishing energetic boundaries with energy vampires and other difficult people.
