Dynamic Energetic Healing (DEH) Level I training last week was successful as it was profound. New trainees learned the art of muscle testing and how to differentiate and navigate between when a person is dehydrated and when their vital energy is switched, both creating potential challenges for the facilitator. Subtle negative energy interference was discussed and introduced through various demonstrations as a natural but frequently overlooked component of old trauma that is very often carried as residue that persists over time. This component of trauma tends to become invested in an individual and must be carefully removed in order for that individual to once again have choices for how to live. Energy psychology strategies were taught, practiced and reviewed. Self-sabotage, called psychoenergetic reversal, was discussed and through demonstration, shown how it can be corrected and eliminated. When asked how one is to protect oneself from subtle negative energies such as intrusions, the answer I respond with is to be “power filled.” This led to a wonderful afternoon of discussion about and practice of the shamanic journey. It is through our contact and connection with compassionate spirits that we absorb “power” and become power filled. Though many in the group had never journeyed before, their first journeys for encountering their power animal were awe inspiring. I continue to discover that for many who are energetically and spiritually sensitive, finding a group of like minded people and a methodology through which these sensibilities can be expressed is liberating and affirming. DEH is a psycho-spiritual model that helps clients release old trauma frozen in time and access spiritual resources to release traumatic residue rapidly and safely that results in personal transformation and healing. I am grateful to continue to have the opportunity to share with others this remarkable healing model.
