Energy psychology is proliferating internationally as a treatment model for successfully addressing psychological distress. One of the most widely recognized energy psychology interventions, EFT, is becoming well known all over the world. In London, there are regular international conferences featuring the many therapeutic applications of EFT—just EFT! Recently, the American Psychological Association accepted energy psychology as a legitimate therapeutic modality worthy of receiving continuing education credits for related workshops. This reflects a growing trend of increasing acceptance for what is commonly regarded as complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) approaches that continue to gain popular acceptance. Energy psychology addresses the human vibrational matrix. This includes the biofield, the chakras and the acupuncture meridians. This is a far cry from talk therapy in the evolution of psychotherapy and will eventually be the standard taught in graduate schools of psychology throughout the world. Why? Because energy psychology works so rapidly and effectively.
A few months ago, I was contacted by a therapist in London who with her colleagues have been learning energy psychology methods. One of their American teachers gave her my first book and recommended she read it. She was so impressed that she assigned it to her energy psychology study group. She told me that they all were intrigued and interested to learn about how core shamanic practices are integrated into the DEH model and blends with energy psychology methods. So much so that she has invited me to share with them just how this is done in the DEH model of working. I will be going to London the first week of June to share DEH with the European community. Energy psychology integrates Chinese medicine principles of working with the meridian system as well as the Indian yogic practices of how using the chakras balance mental and emotional issues. In DEH, I have added the integration of core shamanic healing components since I have been studying and practicing (even teaching) this ancient healing model for over 30-years. Those of you who have worked with me know the transformative power of DEH and the integration of compassionate spirits for releasing traumatic residue, often referred to as intrusions and attachments. Shamanism if often regarded as the oldest healing system in existence that predates all established conventional religious traditions. If you are curious and have not tried DEH, I strongly recommend you gift yourself 3-4 sessions. The shifts that you experience will be quickly noticed as we collaborate with our respective spiritual resources. Whether your goals are to be congruent about healing and thus eliminate any underlying self-sabotage, establish energetic boundaries and restore personal power or clear away any traumatic residue in your field, body and mind (along with any chronic and persistent symptoms that continue to bother you), DEH is an extraordinary experience supporting greater wholeness.
